Georgia General Assembly
|Date/Time:||Jan 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM|
|This Session of the Georgia Legislature is expected to be laden with right-wing legislation, which will be opposed by left-wing organizations - while the moderate Georgians who make up the middle 60% or so (according to recent political studies) go about their daily lives and earning a living. The studies say they are also not affiliated with either political party, and tend to vote for the person. Let's hope some of those moderate voters wake up and pay attention to what the people elected to run our state are doing downtown. After all, 2012 is an election year! |
The Session will go on for 40 days and is open to the public. You can go to the 4th Floor and be allowed to sit in either the House or the Senate gallery to observe the Legislature in action. Pick a day that works for you, grab a friend or two, and do this eye-opening civic experience.
